Independent review and evaluation

I read a programme, a plan or a methodology against the rules it has to meet, and say plainly where it stands, how it can be improved, and what it could do next. Independent means I hold no stake in the credits and I do the work myself.

What holds up, what does not, and what could be improved, before an auditor, a board or a buyer decides.

I carried out the mid-term evaluation of a donor-funded programme working on forests and land use with partner governments. I reviewed its strategy and delivery, consulted stakeholders through interviews and written replies, and presented recommendations to its governing body.
