Facilitation and speaking

I convene and facilitate round tables, working groups and panels on forests, nature and carbon markets, in rooms where governments, companies, scientists and civil society do not start from the same place.

I have been in these rooms as a scientist, as UN staff, as a country delegate and as an independent adviser. I have also worked in the field, so I know the subject in practice and not only in theory. That helps me tell a technical disagreement from a political one, and write up a discussion in a way each side recognises.

A room that reaches something usable: everyone heard, the disagreements named, and a summary people can act on.

I facilitate and speak in English, French, Italian and Dutch.
