Hello there, I'm Danae. My passion on the environment, nature and life takes me to several beautiful corners of the world. I am an environment and development specialist with wide-ranging experience in tropical forestry, climate change, climate finance, biodiversity, nature-based solutions, land degradation, land restoration, partnership development, project management, private sector engagement, voluntary carbon markets, international policy and sustainable livelihoods. I am also a public speaker and meeting facilitator.

With more than 15 years of experience in this field I offer tailored consulting services on Nature-based and Climate solutions that are designed to collectively help us tackle, and adapt to, climate change by harnessing the power of nature and people. 

I hold a PhD and Master degree from the University of Oxford and have lived and/or worked in Belgium, UK, France, the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Gambia, Gabon, USA, Thailand, Indonesia and Italy. I have provided technical support to many other countries such as: Suriname, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia and the Philippines.

I am also an Honorary Research Assistant with the University of Oxford and a fellow of the Royal Geographic Society.
