• July 2006: Poster Presentation at the 'Society of Wetland Scientists, annual meeting 2006, Cairns, Australia: 'Mangroves of the Tanbi Wetland Complex (The Gambia) : Retrospective study of a site awaiting official conservation status'.

• June 2006: Poster Presentation at the 'Mangrove Macrobenthos Meeting 2006, Gold Coast, Australia': 'Mangroves of the Tanbi Wetland Complex (The Gambia) : Retrospective study of a site awaiting official conservation status'. The poster won the Second Prize for Student Poster at this meeting.
